Part Overview

What This Part Does And What Matters On It

The function of the part, the features that carry the fit, and the requirements that decided how it was machined and checked.

A complete robot end-of-arm tool supplied as one deliverable: a pocketed base plate, an anodized aluminum manifold block, stainless guide rails with paired finger blades, and urethane contact pads where the product is touched. The plate is milled with the pockets and the mounting pattern, the manifold and fingers are made separately, and the whole tool is assembled and checked before it ships.

The dimensions that matter are the positions of the pads and fingers relative to the plate's mounting pattern, because that is what the robot repeats every cycle. Fit features that are anodized are machined to a pre-coating size so they are still in tolerance after coating.

Send the robot flange pattern, the product the tool has to pick, and the cycle rate; mass and where it sits decide the plate as much as the part shape does.

How This Part Was Machined

Base plate pockets and the mounting pattern are milled in one setup. Fit features are machined to a pre-anodizing size, and the fingers, manifold and pads are assembled and checked as one tool before shipping.

Every Quote Comes With DFM Notes

Owen reads the drawing before pricing it: tolerances that add cost, features that need a second setup, finishes that change lead time. Send a STEP or PDF with the material and quantity, and the quote reflects what is actually machinable, within 24 hours on business days.
